Mujh ko hai Dil ka Ghuroor…

An enchanting version of Mukesh’s original way back in film Yehudi. I just cannot get over the mesmerising voice in this version, it gives it a woman’s touch. Subtle, sexy, yet wild in its own way, it definitely gets the point across.

Appeals to my free soul, any day of the year

Aise Veerane Mein Ek Din
Ghut Ke Mar Jayenge Hum
Jitna Ji Chaahe Pukaro
Phir Nahin Aayenge Hum
Yeh Mera Deewanapan hai…

Dil Se Tujhko Bedili Hai
Mujhko Hai Dil Ka Guroor
Tu Yeh Maane Ke Na Maane
Log Maanenge Zaroor

Yeh Mera Deewanapan Hai
Ya Mohabbat Ka Suroor
Tu Na Pehchaane To Hai Yeh
Teri Nazron Ka Kusoor
Yeh Mera Deewanapan ...

Dil Ko Teri Hi Tamanna
Dil Ko Hai Tujhse Hi Pyar
Chaahe Tu Aaye Na Aaye
Hum Karenge Intezaar
Yeh Mera Deewanapan...

Aise Veerane Mein Ek Din
Ghut Ke Mar Jayenge Hum
Jitna Ji Chaahe Pukaro
Phir Nahin Aayenge Hum
Yeh Mera Deewanapan...

The Simple life…

This is all I need for life…

These handful of songs say it all.

Starting from an earlier posted song Free

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life
Wherever I wander, wherever I roam
I couldn't be fonder of my big home
The bees are buzzin' in the tree
To make some honey just for me
When you look under the rocks and plants
And take a glance at the fancy ants
Then maybe try a few
The bare necessities of life will come to you
They'll come to you!
Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
That's why a bear can rest at ease
With just the bare necessities of life
Now when you pick a pawpaw
Or a prickly pear
And you prick a raw paw
Next time beware
Don't pick the prickly pear by the paw
When you pick a pear
Try to use the claw
But you don't need to use the claw
When you pick a pear of the big pawpaw
Have I given you a clue ?
The bare necessities of life will come to you
They'll come to you!
So just try and relax, yeah cool it
Fall apart in my backyard
'Cause let me tell you something little britches
If you act like that bee acts, uh uh
You're working too hard
And don't spend your time lookin' around
For something you want that can't be found
When you find out you can live without it
And go along not thinkin' about it
I'll tell you something true
The bare necessities of life will come to you

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,
bright copper kettles and warm woollen mittens,
brown paper packages tied up with strings,
these are a few of my favourite things.
Cream coloured ponies and crisp apple strudels,
door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles.
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings.
these are a few of my favourite things.
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes,
snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes,
silver white winters that melt into springs,
these are a few of my favourite things.
When the dog bites, when the bee stings,
when I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favourite things,
and then I don't feel so bad.
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,
bright copper kettles and warm woollen mittens,
brown paper packages tied up with strings,
these are a few of my favourite things.
Cream coloured ponies and crisp apple strudels,
door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles.
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings.

Give a little time for the child within you,
don’t be afraid to be young and free.
Undo the locks and throw away the keys
and take off your shoes and socks, and run you.
La, la, la...
Give a little time for the child within you,
don’t be afraid to be young and free.
Undo the locks and throw away the keys
and take off your shoes and socks, and run you.
La, la, la...
Run through the meadow and scare up the milking cows
Run down the beach kicking clouds of sand
Walk a windy weather day, feel your face blow away
Stop and listen: Love you.
Roll like a circus clown, put away your circus frown
Ride on a roller coaster upside down
Waltzing Matilda, Carey loves a kinkatchoo
Joey catch a kangaroo, hug you.
Dandelion, milkweed, silky on a sunny sky
Reach out and hitch a ride and float on by
Balloons down below catching colours of the rainbow
red, blue and yellow-green: I love you.
Bicycles, tricycles, ice cream candy
Lollypops, popsicles, liquorice sticks
Solomon Grundy, Raggedy Andy
Tweedledum and Tweedledee, home free.
Cowboys and Indians, puppydogs and sandpails
Beach balls and baseballs and basketballs, too.
I love forget-me-nots, fluffernutters, sugarpops
I’ll hug you and kiss you and love you
La, la, la... Love you.

Born free, as free as the wind blows
As free as the grass grows
Born free to follow your heart

Live free and beauty surrounds you
The world still astounds you
Each time you look at a star

Stay free, where no walls divide you
You're free as the roaring tide
So there's no need to hide

Born free, and life is worth living
But only worth living
'cause you're born free

Stay free, where no walls divide you
You're free as the roaring tide
So there's no need to hide

Born free, and life is worth living
But only worth living
'cause you're born free

This is my life, the simple life.

Hear me out

Most times in life things are not the way they appear to be. Beneath a calm exterior lies a storm ready to lash out, behind apparent happiness lies unfathomable hurt. Beyond the facade of life dwells hurt and all that is irreparable.

Sometimes you just want someone to hear you out but you’ve been holding back so long, you lose words. You lose the ability to express.

That is when you want them to listen to your breath humming the tone of your songs, looking for them. When sleep flees, nights awaken in your eyes. Days are dazed as your heart transforms into a fragrant world in its own…

Sunn
mere mehboob sunn
mere saanson se sunn
mere geeton ki dhunn
tuu hai kahan

sunn
mere mehbboob sunn
mere saanson se sunn
mere geeton kee dhunn
tu hai kahan

Neendein
palkon se bhaagein
Raatein
ankhon mein jaagein
Din hon behkay behkay
Dil ki duniya mehkey

Tuu
tuu jo aa jaye tau
Gungunaaye hawaa
Muskuraaye fazaa
Jhoomay jahan

Jeevan
soonaa hai aisay
Panchee
sehra mein jaisay
Poochhein teri baatein
Aati jaati raatein

Aaa

Tuu hai mere liye
Ab bahaar aaye yaaa
chhaye khizaan

Sunn
Mere mehbboob sunn
Mere saanson se sunn
Mere geeton kee dhunn
tuu hai kahan

Sunn
Mere mehbboob sunn
Mere saanson se sunn
Mere geeton kee dhunn
tuu hai kahan
